Profile and Email

Open Profile under the Settings heading in the sidebar. The page is a stack of cards, one per setting.

Name and picture

Your display name and picture appear in the top of the sidebar. Update the name in the Your Name card and save. Upload or replace the picture in the Your Profile Picture card; square images look best.

Email address

The Update your Email card shows the address you sign in with and lets you change it. Enter the new address twice and save. A confirmation link is sent to the new address, and the change completes when you click it. Until then you continue to sign in with the old address.

If you signed up with Google and have no password, you can still change the email shown here, but consider setting a password first so you always have a second way in.

Password

The Update your Password card lets you set a new password. Enter the new password twice and save. If you originally signed up with Google or a one-time link and have never set a password, this card lets you add one.

Forgot the current password? Sign out, open the sign-in page and use Forgot Password? to receive a reset link by email.

Language and theme

Open the account menu at the top of the sidebar (your name and picture) to switch between light and dark mode. Freelancer Shield is currently available in English.
