Your account holds the contracts you upload. These settings make it much harder for anyone else to get at them.
The Multi-Factor Authentication card in Settings lets you add an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy.
From then on, signing in asks for a code from the app after your password or Google sign-in.
Once two-factor authentication is on, your contract reviews are protected by it too. Opening a review, submitting a contract or asking a follow-up question requires that you have verified with your second factor in the current session. If your session has not been verified yet, you are sent to the verification page automatically. Enter the six-digit code from your authenticator app and you are returned to where you were.
Keep a way back in. If you lose the phone with your authenticator app and have no other factor, contact us so we can verify your identity and help you recover access.
If the Passkeys card is shown, you can add a passkey to sign in with your device's fingerprint, face or PIN instead of a password. Click Add a passkey, follow your browser's prompt and give the passkey a name. Passkeys are tied to the device or password manager that created them, so add one on each device you use, or use a password manager that syncs them.
The Linked Accounts card shows which methods can sign in to this account: email and password, Google and so on. Linking Google to an account that started with a password, or adding a password to an account that started with Google, gives you a fallback if one method stops working. You cannot unlink the only remaining method.
Open the account menu at the top of the sidebar (your name and picture) and choose Sign out. Sign out on shared or borrowed computers, and consider two-factor authentication if you ever sign in from public machines.
